Vermont Hardy Daylilies

We are a small family-owned daylily nursery in East Braintree, Vermont specializing in zone-4 hardy daylilies. All daylilies have been field grown for at least a year at Pagoda Pond, most for several years. We are happy to show you the gardens and answer your questions about growing daylilies, daylily history, and hybridizing new daylilies.

The gardens includes over 1200 varieties of daylilies -- diploids, tetraploids,

all sizes and colors, early, mid, and late-season bloomers, spiders, eyed,

ruffled, doubles, and unusual forms. We sell double-fan or larger plants and
prices vary from $8 - $50, with most in the $10 - $20 range. The newest
hybrids are higher priced.

Many pre-dug and potted daylilies are for sale this year. In order to
physically-distance we are not custom digging this year, but we will
keep a wish list for customers and if a certain daylily becomes
available we will call or email you.

Our collection also includes the original daylily species imported from Asia

hundreds of years ago. These simple daylilies are the ancestors of all of today's modern hybrid daylilies.

  The Heirloom Garden has 250+ early hybrids from the late 1800s to the mid-1900                     arranged in chronological order. We have been growing heirloom varieties for a                      few years and we now have enough to offer these for sale at a reasonable prices.

​

Daylily season is coming to an end a bit early this year due to the drought in July.
After August 23 we will be open by appointment only.
